Here you can see what the song looked like once i had put all the layers together.
Once i had listened to the song a few times. i had to leave it unitll the next day, so my ears could adjust. I found that it was hard to hear any minor mistakes as i had been listening to it to long. the next day i tidyed the song up by changing the bass a little bit by giving it a little compression and a tiny bit of distortion aswell as doing a bit of atomation on the whole peice. I also found that i needed to turn up the vocals as they were drowned out my the music and couldn't be herd easily. on the lower screen shot u can see u can see the samples i got from the underground train, metal taps, rummiging througth the tip and the paper rips. Once i had recorded the sounds i made sure they sounded crystal clear by playing around with the eq and basically doing trial and error to see what sounds good. once i got the sound i wanted, i then repeated the sound, such as the metal taps(bottom left) so they formed a melody. I did this beofor adding the bass as i wanted the song to form around the sounds i recorded and not the samples i already had.
